Interviewer training
For hiring managers, panel members and anyone who sits on an interview panel.
A good interview is fair, consistent and gets to the evidence. This training gives your interviewers the skills and confidence to assess candidates properly, and to make decisions they can stand behind.
Topics can include:
Planning an interview and choosing the right questions
Behaviour, strengths and values-based questioning
Probing and follow-up questions that get past rehearsed answers
Note-taking, scoring and reaching evidence-based decisions
Reducing bias and ensuring a fair, inclusive process
Running a panel: roles, chairing and agreeing outcomes
Giving candidates constructive feedback
Ideal for organisations using competency, behaviour or values-based frameworks, including Civil Service Success Profiles and NHS values-based recruitment.
Interview training
For staff going for promotion, graduates, school leavers and job seekers.
Many capable people underperform at interview. They don't lack ability; they don't know how to show it. This training helps them understand what interviewers are looking for, and how to give clear, confident answers backed by evidence.
Topics can include:
Understanding the role, the framework and how answers are scored
Writing strong applications, CVs and personal statements
The STAR method for behaviour and competency questions
Strengths-based and values-based questions
Building a bank of strong examples from everyday work
Mock interviews with practical feedback
Managing nerves and making a strong impression
A practical way to support internal progression, talent development and employability programmes.
How training is delivered
Both programmes are available in the format that suits your team.

All training can be tailored to your sector, recruitment framework and the grades or roles involved.
